Legoland Windsor was evacuated and closed on Sunday after a burst water main disrupted its water supply. Customers were instructed to leave rides and exit the resort at approximately 13:00 BST.

Thames Water confirmed it had to shut off the damaged main near St Leonards Reservoir to prevent flooding, which impacted the theme park's water supply. The company apologised for the disruption, noting that some local residents reportedly experienced flooded gardens.

A visitor from Cornwall, who was at the park with her children, described the sudden evacuation as "surreal." She recounted being at the front of a queue when everything stopped, followed by an announcement about Thames Water disruption and a lack of water. Thames Water has since stated that supplies have been restored and permanent repairs are under way, with an update expected on Monday.
