Epic Games has confirmed that rap superstar Lil Wayne will be featured in Fortnite starting this weekend. He is the latest artist to join the game's Icon series, which includes other figures such as Travis Scott and Sabrina Carpenter.
The collaboration will introduce two Lil Wayne outfits, along with Weezy-inspired accessories. These include the Milli Bricks back bling, Weezy Board back bling, Weezy Boardbreaker pickaxe, and Young Money Stage glider. Additionally, three of his songs – 'Lollipop', 'A Milli', and '6 Foot 7 Foot' – will be added to Fortnite Festival as jam tracks, alongside 'Lollipop' and '6 Foot 7 Foot' emotes.
The Lil Wayne x Fortnite collaboration is scheduled to go live on September 12. On the same day, players can participate in the Weezy Icon Cup, competing in either Solo Battle Royale or Solo Zero Build. Top regional performers in this tournament will receive the Weezy Outfit and Weezy Board Back Bling before they become available in the Shop, and all competitors will earn the YM Emoticon, according to Epic Games.
