Lindsey Burrow, wife of the late rugby league player Rob Burrow, and BBC Look North presenter Amy Garcia are set to push the programme's red sofa 80 miles (129km) across Yorkshire for this year's Children in Need charity challenge.
The five-day event will begin in Ripon on Monday 9 November and conclude in Wakefield on Friday 13 November. The pair plan to cover between 12 and 20 miles each day, with their efforts broadcast live along the route.
The challenge will involve taking the sofa from the Look North studio and pushing it with a specially-designed trolley. The route will include stops at Children in Need-funded projects and attempts to scale some of the region's highest peaks, such as Holme Moss.
Lindsey Burrow stated she expects the sofa push to be one of her toughest challenges yet, following a test push that proved harder than anticipated. Amy Garcia noted the sofa is heavier than when it was used for a similar challenge in 2018.
In 2025, the duo raised tens of thousands of pounds for BBC Children in Need by completing a 30-mile three-legged walk across Yorkshire.
