Liverpool have reached an agreement with Paris Saint-Germain to sign France winger Bradley Barcola. The deal will guarantee PSG just over £100 million, with the fee potentially rising to £120 million including add-ons.
This breakthrough in negotiations follows Liverpool's summer-long pursuit of the winger. Barcola is poised to become the second most expensive player in Liverpool’s history, after Alexander Isak joined last summer for £125 million.
The agreed price is significantly lower than PSG's initial asking price of £145 million. Barcola's arrival is part of Liverpool's search for a successor to Mohamed Salah, who left on a free transfer to Trabzonspor. Barcola is expected to be Liverpool’s third summer signing, following Jeremy Jacquet and Victor Munoz.
