Liverpool have secured a deal to sign 18-year-old winger Djylian N'Guessan from St Etienne for €5m. The talented forward, who has impressed with 11 goals in as many games for France’s Under-17 side, is set to officially join the Reds in January.
N'Guessan will initially be loaned to Ligue 1 club Brest for the first half of the season. Liverpool will then decide in January whether to keep him in France or bring him to Anfield.
The young star previously featured prominently in the 2025 European Under-17 Championship, scoring four goals and helping France reach the final, earning him a spot in the team of the tournament. This signing follows Liverpool's agreement to acquire goalkeeper Lucca Brughmans earlier this week, as the club's Global Talent team continues to plan for future squad development.
