Llanddwyn Beach on Anglesey, Wales, has been recognised as the best beach in the UK, according to the Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards 2026. The Welsh beach achieved a score of 96.67 in the annual survey.
Following Llanddwyn Beach, Camusdarach Beach in the West Highlands, Scotland, secured the second spot with a score of 95.13. Perranporth Beach in St Agnes, Cornwall, England, was ranked third, scoring 93.33.
Other notable UK beaches in the top 15 include Tenby South Beach in Pembrokeshire, Wales, at fourth place, and West Wittering Beach in West Sussex, England, at fifth.
