Lomond has completed another acquisition in the Midlands, purchasing the residential lettings and property management arm of Nottingham agency FHP Living. This move will see the acquired business transferred into John Shepherd, Lomond's primary brand across the Midlands.
The acquisition is set to expand John Shepherd’s presence in Nottingham and West Bridgford, also incorporating a student lettings operation. FHP Living's residential sales and development consultancy business is not included in the deal and will continue to operate independently from its West Bridgford office, led by Jules Hunt and Jason Cook.
Paul Clarke, chief revenue officer at Lomond, stated that FHP Living represents the kind of business the group seeks, highlighting its local trust and client focus. David Hargreaves, a founding director of FHP Living, noted that joining John Shepherd and Lomond provides clients and the team with access to the resources of a larger group while maintaining local presence.
Luke Pritchett, a director, will remain with the acquired lettings business. He commented that the move will provide more tools, expertise, and support for landlords as the market evolves.
