London's autumn calendar is packed with a diverse range of events, offering everything from culinary delights to historical exhibitions. The Meatopia On-Fire festival, celebrating flamed and grilled meats, is currently underway at Tobacco Dock until 6 September. For podcast enthusiasts, the London Podcast Festival is running from 3-13 September at King’s Place. Now in its 11th year, the festival features live podcasts with guests including Jameela Jamil and the hosts of Life After Prison.
A significant cultural event this autumn is the arrival of the Bayeux Tapestry at the British Museum, starting from 10 September. This medieval artwork, which retells the story of the Norman Conquest, will be on display until July 2027. Additionally, the Bruce Lee Festival will be held at Genesis Cinema in Whitechapel on 5 September, featuring screenings of his movies and documentaries.
