Lotus has introduced the Emira 420 Sport, which is now the official flagship model in the Emira range. This new version is powered by a 2.0-litre four-cylinder Mercedes-AMG engine, delivering 420hp and 369lb ft of torque.
The Emira 420 Sport is priced from £105,900. It can accelerate from zero to 62mph in 3.7 seconds and has a top speed of 186mph. The car also generates up to 25kg more downforce and carries up to 25kg less weight than previous models.
Design changes for the 420 Sport include a 5mm lowered stance, larger apertures in the front bumper, a new splitter, and slash-cut vents in the front wings. The car also features more sculpted sills, deeper air intakes, and a louvred tailgate.
An optional Lightweight Handling Pack is available for £12,900, which includes Multimatic spool valve dampers, a titanium exhaust system, a compact lithium-ion battery, a carbon fibre tailgate, and bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres.
