LRG has formally announced the acquisition of Henry Adams, a deal that incorporates 12 branches and strengthens LRG’s estate agency presence across Sussex, Surrey, and Hampshire. The transaction includes Henry Adams' sales, lettings, and holiday cottages operations, along with two franchise branches that will continue under their existing agreements.
The acquisition excludes Henry Adams Fine Art, Land and Planning, Rural, Valuations, and Commercial businesses, which will remain separate. LRG plans to retain the Henry Adams brand, with its existing leadership, including Managing Director Ian Wiggett and Head of Residential Sales Gareth Overton, and local teams remaining in place.
LRG stated that Henry Adams will gain access to the group’s technology, training, and wider resources. The acquisition is also intended to serve as a platform for further expansion of the Henry Adams brand. This deal adds to LRG’s existing presence in the South of England and is part of its strategy to partner with regional property businesses.
