Darts sensation Luke Littler is continuing his bid to make history at the World Series of Darts finals this weekend. The world champion is attempting to become the first player to win all 10 televised major tournaments in a single calendar year.
Littler has already secured five major titles in a dominant 2026, including the World Championship, World Masters, UK Open, Premier League, and World Matchplay. He also won the World Cup alongside Luke Humphries.
The 19-year-old will begin his campaign in Amsterdam against home favourite Danny Noppert on Friday. Littler acknowledged that it would be "gutting" if his quest for the clean sweep ended in the Netherlands, where he previously won in 2024 but lost to Michael van Gerwen in the 2025 final.
Dutch star Michael van Gerwen, who opens against Daryl Gurney on Thursday, could pose a significant challenge. Van Gerwen, who won the title last year, expressed his joy at that victory, stating, "I had goosebumps – it was amazing to hold a trophy again."
