Darren Conway, 52, has pleaded guilty to 11 charges at Wood Green Crown Court, including voyeurism, possession of extreme pornography, and encouraging another man to sexually abuse his unconscious wife on Conway’s behalf.
Scotland Yard’s Commander Andy Day described Conway’s actions as “shocking,” stating that he put women at serious risk of harm in their own homes for his own sexual gratification. The case was identified as “drug-facilitated sexual offending.”
According to the indictment, Conway solicited naked images of sleeping women on at least 10 occasions between 2023 and 2026. While most charges related to one woman, police fear there are many more victims and are working to identify others from footage found on Conway’s devices. Some offending is believed to have occurred in the UK, but some victims may be overseas.
The Metropolitan Police uncovered the online sexual abuse network in October 2025, following the Gisèle Pelicot case in France. Conway was arrested on 30 July after being identified as a member of the group chat, where he encouraged “drug-facilitated sexual offending.”
Tracy Easton, Chief Crown Prosecutor for the Crown Prosecution Service in south London, said that organised drug-facilitated sexual assault is abhorrent. Judge John Dodd KC told Conway he would be sentenced on 30 October.
