  • Manchester City rejected Barcelona's second bid of approximately £51m for Rodri.
  • City reportedly seeks between £60m and £65m for Rodri.
  • Chelsea has set a 5pm (BST) Friday deadline for a £120m bid for Enzo Fernández.

Manchester City has rejected Barcelona's second bid for Rodri, valued at around €60m (£51m). The Spanish club had improved on an initial €45m offer, but City is reportedly looking for a fee between £60m and £65m for the former Ballon d’Or winner and Spain World Cup-winning captain.

Meanwhile, Chelsea has set a firm deadline of 5pm (BST) on Friday for any club interested in midfielder Enzo Fernández. The Blues are demanding £120m for the 25-year-old World Cup winner, stating he will remain their player if the valuation is not met by an official bid.

City reportedly accepts that Rodri, who has expressed a preference for Barcelona, is likely to move to Camp Nou. Enzo Fernández has been identified as a potential replacement in Enzo Maresca’s squad. To help finance transfers, City is in advanced discussions to sell Tijjani Reijnders to Saudi Arabian club Al-Qadsiah for approximately €60m.
