A 29-year-old Afghan national has been sentenced to 14 years in prison for raping and sexually assaulting two 14-year-old girls in Bolton, Greater Manchester.

The defendant met the girls on Snapchat before inviting them to his flat, where they were encouraged to drink vodka and Coke.
Both girls became so intoxicated that they passed out, and each witnessed the other being raped and sexually assaulted.
The defendant was convicted of two counts of rape, one of sexual assault, and one of assault by penetration.
