Man shot dead at West London memorial service named by police

Police have named Levi Davidson, 40, as the man shot dead at a memorial service in East Acton on 2 October. He was found with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Police have identified Levi Davidson, 40, as the man who was fatally shot at a memorial service in west London. Officers were called to the junction of Braybrook Street and Erconwald Street in East Acton at approximately 7:45 PM BST on 2 October after reports of multiple gunshots.

Mr Davidson, from west London, was discovered with a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead at the scene. No arrests have been made in connection with the incident.

The Metropolitan Police stated that over 50 people are believed to have been in the area at the time and have appealed for witnesses. Detective Chief Inspector Brian Howie, leading the murder investigation, urged anyone with information, including photographs, video, or dashcam footage, to contact the police.
