Manchester City have identified Roma’s Manu Koné as a potential target to bolster Enzo Maresca’s midfield options. The 25-year-old France World Cup midfielder, who played in five of his country's eight matches, is expected to command a fee of around £50m.
This comes as City navigate a busy transfer window, having already acquired Elliot Anderson for £116m and nearing the £85m signing of Ayyoub Bouaddi from Lille. The club has also seen key departures, with Rodri moving to Barcelona for approximately £65m and Tijjani Reijnders joining Al-Qadsiah for around £51m.
City are also reportedly in ongoing discussions with Tottenham regarding a potential £150m double deal for Savinho and Omar Marmoush. While no agreement has been reached, negotiations are understood to be progressing.
