Mark Wahlberg is preparing to open his first Municipal Gym in December, a venture he describes as more exciting than anything else in his career. The 32,000-square-foot facility, located outside Las Vegas, is designed to compete with high-end longevity clubs by offering similar services at a more accessible price.
The gym will provide a range of wellness features, including blood work, epigenetic testing, recovery equipment, compression therapy, and cold plunges. A café serving protein muffins will also be available. Wahlberg stated that members could get three rounds of blood work and an hour with a doctor for $99, with supplements and hormone therapy also offered.
This initiative follows Wahlberg's previous investment in the F45 fitness chain, which was delisted from the NYSE in 2023. He indicated that the Municipal Gym concept is part of a broader "health and wellness ecosystem" that began with a sportswear line launched during COVID.
