Will Taylor, franchise owner of Martin & Co Huddersfield, has completed the acquisition of independent estate and lettings agency ADM Residential. This marks his fourth business purchase since the operation was established in 2009.
The deal consolidates ADM Residential’s property portfolio into the Huddersfield franchise, which now employs a team of 12 staff members. Operations Manager Lisa Hollings noted that a clear plan and team alignment are crucial for integrating acquired businesses.
The acquisition occurs as buy-to-let yields have reached their highest level since 2011. The expanded 12-person team aims to provide enhanced client access and support for ADM landlords, vendors, tenants, and customers.
This consolidation reflects broader trends in the estate agency sector, where independent operators face increasing pressure from regulatory requirements and market volatility. Recent data indicates property viewings have declined by 57%.
