Hull City forward Oli McBurnie has been named in the Scotland squad for the first time in five years. He is joined by seven uncapped players in new head coach Sebastien Pocognoli's initial selection.
The uncapped players include Luis Binks, Colby Donovan, Jon McCracken, Josh McPake, Stephen Welsh, Stoke City defender Luke Graham, and Sevilla striker Robbie Ure. McBurnie, 30, last played for Scotland in 2021, earning his 16th cap.
Graham, 22, was part of Scotland's pre-World Cup training camp in May and has started strongly for Stoke City. Ure, also 22, transferred to Sevilla for £5.5m after a prolific spell in Sweden.
Pocognoli's first match in charge will be on Saturday, 26 September, in Scotland's Nations League B opener against Slovenia. His debut at Hampden Park will follow three days later against Switzerland.
