Meta is reportedly developing a new smart glasses model, dubbed Luna, which will not feature an integrated camera. This development comes as the company faces complaints regarding its camera-equipped smart glasses.
The Luna model is said to include six built-in microphones and a side button to activate communication with Meta’s AI chatbot and its consumer agent, Muse. The Information reports that these glasses are designed to interact with Meta's AI systems.
The new smart glasses may be unveiled as soon as Meta Connect, the company's annual hardware and developer event, which is scheduled to take place next week in Menlo Park.
