The event, organised by Smith and Watt, aimed to raise money for the Chad Smith Foundation, which supports young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuing music.

The one-day event, dubbed Golf Jam, featured 18 holes of golf followed by a live performance. Josh Homme joined Chad Smith and Andrew Watt on stage to cover songs by artists such as David Bowie, INXS, and Tom Petty. Other classic songs performed included tracks by Led Zeppelin, The Who, and The Beatles.

Notable attendees at the event included Will Ferrell, Joel Madden, Breckin Meyer, and NBA legend Derek Fisher. An auction was also held during the night, selling unique items to further raise funds for the charity.
