Clare Eaton, a 56-year-old fitness instructor from Nantwich, Cheshire, has amassed approximately 450,000 followers on Instagram, a significant increase from around 160 followers about a year ago. Her online presence, under the name feelgoodhealthfitness, grew rapidly after she posted a humorous video inspired by actor Tom Hardy.
Ms Eaton's spoof involved her pretending to rush to bed to be read to by Tom Hardy, after seeing him read a children's bedtime story. She said her social media went "crazy" following this post.
The mother-of-two, who creates content for other mid-life women, is now writing a book about happiness in mid-life and during menopause. The book's launch, scheduled for Wednesday, was moved from a local bookshop to a school hall due to the number of people wishing to attend.
Ms Eaton's journey to online fame began with online fitness classes during lockdown, initially for a school and then on Facebook Live. She later expanded to Instagram, initially finding it challenging to use.
