Naughty Dog, the studio behind popular titles such as 'Uncharted' and 'The Last Of Us', is reportedly aiming to release its new game, 'Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet', next year. The project has been in development since 2020 and was first announced in December 2024 at The Game Awards.
A new report from insider NateTheHate suggests that 2027 remains the expected release window for the game. This follows a previous report from Blomberg last year which claimed the game would not be released before mid-2027 at the earliest.
Naughty Dog has not publicly confirmed a release window. However, it has been confirmed that Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross from Nine Inch Nails will compose the soundtrack. Neil Druckmann, Naughty Dog studio head, stated last year that he would focus fully on the gaming studio and its future projects, including writing and directing 'Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet'.
