The first spin-off from Amazon's action series 'Reacher', titled 'Neagley', concluded its eight-episode run on September 16, 2026, revealing the truth behind Tommy Crane's death.
Initially appearing to be a drug-induced suicide on subway tracks, it was uncovered that Tommy Crane (Jhaleil Swaby) was murdered by a cult-like group at Echo Canyon. This group, led by Lawrence Cole (Damon Herriman), was secretly using its members as test subjects for a psychedelic drug named Tranqlara. The drug was developed by pharmaceutical executive Pierce Woodrow (Matthew Del Negro) with funding from Swedish billionaire Arvid Rawlings.
Tommy had discovered the cult's activities and was killed with Tranqlara by those running the operation before he could expose them. In the finale, Neagley retrieved the drug research, rescued surviving cult members, and escaped before the facility exploded, killing Lawrence Cole. Neagley later confronted Rawlings, injecting him with Tranqlara, leading to his death after he wandered into traffic.
The series also explored Frances Neagley's (Maria Stern) haphephobia, revealing it originated from a childhood incident involving her father and the abuse of Tommy Crane by Elliot Percy. Neagley's father killed Percy after discovering the abuse.
