New London Restaurants Reviewed: Café Clement, Eve Bar, and Fenix

Recent London restaurant openings, including Nick Jones's Café Clement and the redesigned Eve Bar, have been reviewed, alongside the Mayfair opening of Fenix.

  • Café Clement is the first solo restaurant from Nick Jones, founder of Soho House.
  • Eve Bar, located beneath Adam Handling's Frog, has been redesigned with a "Three Cs" concept of caviar, Champagne, and cocktails.
  • Fenix, a modern Greek restaurant from Manchester, opened in Mayfair in March.

London's dining scene has seen several new additions and re-imaginings, with reviews emerging for Café Clement, Eve Bar, and Fenix. Café Clement, the ground-floor restaurant of the new St Clement Hotel, marks the first solo venture for Nick Jones, known for Soho House and The Ned. The menu is broadly European, overseen by former River Café head chef Danny Bohan.

Eve Bar, situated beneath Adam Handling's Michelin-starred Frog, has undergone a redesign. The basement bar now operates with a "Three Cs" concept, focusing on caviar, Champagne, and cocktails. Its signature offering is a martini and caviar flight.

In Mayfair, Fenix, a modern Greek restaurant from Adam and Drew Jones of Tattu, opened in March. The restaurant's design and initial food and wine menus have been noted as potentially uninspired compared to competitors.
