As the UK prepares for cloudier days, colder temperatures, and increased rainfall in October, several destinations abroad are anticipated to provide consistent sunshine.
Southern European cities like Seville, Spain, and Valletta, Malta, are expected to remain pleasantly warm. Seville is forecast to have an average October temperature of 21C, with daily highs reaching 27C and seven hours of sunshine per day. Valletta is expected to see an average of 24C, with highs around 25C and seven hours of daily sunshine.
Other destinations offering autumn sun include Oahu, Hawaii, USA, with an average October temperature of 27C and highs of 29C, alongside eight hours of sunshine daily. Sardinia, Italy, is forecast for an average of 18C, with highs climbing to 22C and six hours of daily sunshine. Cyprus is expected to have an average October temperature of 23C and eight hours of sunshine, while the Algarve, Portugal, is also forecast for an average of 23C with seven hours of daily sunshine.
Valletta will also host its annual Notte Bianca festival, an arts celebration, on 3 October.
