Railway company European Sleeper is set to launch a new overnight train service connecting Belgium, the Netherlands, and Sweden in spring 2028. The route will link Brussels, Amsterdam, Copenhagen, and Malmo.

The service is being developed in partnership with German railway operator RDC. Plans include departures from Brussels and Malmo from 7pm, arriving at the other end of the route at 10am the following morning. Details regarding the days of the week the service will run are yet to be announced.

Accommodation options are expected to include seats, couchettes, and sleeper compartments. Deluxe sleeper options, such as double beds and private en-suite bathrooms, are also being considered. Prices for the new route have not yet been announced.

This expansion follows European Sleeper's third route, connecting Brussels to Milan, which is scheduled to launch on 9 September. Preparations are also underway for a Brussels-Barcelona overnight connection, also due to launch in 2028.
