Nikita Bier has resigned from his position as head of product at X, the social media platform owned by Elon Musk. His departure comes a little over a year after he took on the role in July 2025.
Bier announced his decision on Wednesday, stating he believes it is "time to pass the torch and demote myself to my natural state: a poster." He also confirmed he would continue to advise the company.
During his tenure, Bier reportedly oversaw the launch of 30 new products. He described the role as a "24/7 job" and indicated a need "to take a breather."
