McLaren's Lando Norris has secured pole position at the Dutch Grand Prix, outpacing Mercedes driver George Russell by 0.102 seconds. The qualifying session saw a frantic rush to complete laps as raindrops began to fall.
Russell's team-mate, Kimi Antonelli, who is the championship leader, briefly topped the times before being surpassed by Norris and then Russell. Antonelli ultimately qualified third, 0.031 seconds behind Russell and 0.009 seconds faster than Oscar Piastri of McLaren.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen will start his final home grand prix from seventh place, with the Dutch race scheduled to be removed from the calendar after this season. His stand-in team-mate, Liam Lawson, impressed by qualifying eighth, just 0.0115 seconds behind Verstappen.
