Lando Norris of McLaren has won the Dutch Grand Prix, marking his second consecutive victory this season and the 13th of his career. He overtook Mercedes driver Kimi Antonelli late in the race, after Antonelli had led for most of the 72 laps.
The race at Zandvoort was interrupted on the opening lap by a high-speed crash involving Red Bull's Max Verstappen. Verstappen's car was severely damaged, but he was reported to be unharmed. The incident led to a 40-minute stoppage to clear debris from the track.
Following the restart, Antonelli initially took the lead from Norris. However, Norris made a decisive move with 15 laps remaining to retake first place. George Russell, Antonelli's Mercedes teammate, finished in third position.
Norris's victory has narrowed the gap in the world championship standings. Antonelli currently leads the championship by 59 points over teammate Russell and Lewis Hamilton, with Norris now 83 points behind.
