The Office for National Statistics (ONS) today released its provisional results for Business Investment in the UK covering the period of April to June 2026. These statistics provide estimates of short-term indicators related to investment in non-financial assets.
The release also includes details on business investment, alongside asset and sector breakdowns of total gross fixed capital formation. These are accredited official statistics, reviewed by the Office for Statistics Regulation (OSR) for compliance with trustworthiness, quality, and value standards.
The ONS has confirmed that the next release of these figures is scheduled for 30 September 2026.
