Pabst is offering a reward for the return of its Blue Ribbon beer after tens of thousands of cans were stolen from the company's southern California warehouse two weeks ago. The company stated in Instagram posts that the stolen cargo weighed 40,000lb (18,000kg).

The thefts, valued by police at $70,000, involved approximately 34,000 cans of Pabst Blue Ribbon and non-alcoholic Old Milwaukee beer. Paul Myers, senior director of integrated marketing operations for Pabst, stated the company is offering a cash reward equal to half the value of the stolen product.

Montclair police reported two separate heists on August 17 from an Anheuser-Busch distribution center. In the first incident, about $45,000 worth of beer was picked up but not delivered. An hour later, a "purported subcontracting company" used fake documents to collect another $25,000 worth of beer.

Pabst has set a countdown for the beer's return, stating, "you have exactly 18 days and 44 minutes to return our truckload of beer, no questions asked."
