England face a chase of 130 runs to win the third Test after Pakistan debutant Razaullah produced significant resistance on day three at Edgbaston. The 21-year-old, batting at number nine, scored an audacious 81 runs, propelling Pakistan to a second innings total of 449.
Razaullah's innings included a 43-ball half-century and nine sixes, which tied Ben Stokes' record for the number of maximums in a Test innings in England. He also shared an eighth-wicket stand of 121 with Muhammad Abbas, who contributed 42 runs.
Earlier in the day, Shan Masood scored 95 and captain Babar Azam made 76 for Pakistan. England had bowled Pakistan out for 133 in their first innings, with Josh Tongue taking 4-42, and then scored 453 in their first innings.
Razaullah was eventually stumped off Dan Lawrence, ending the day's play and signalling the beginning of England's chase on Saturday.
