Celebrity blogger Perez Hilton remains in hospital nearly two weeks after being admitted. His family stated he is continuing to receive treatment from “medical and mental health professionals”.
Emergency services were seen outside the 48-year-old's Miami home on August 4, following public reports of him self-harming during a TikTok livestream. His account was suspended shortly after this incident.
In an earlier statement, his family mentioned Hilton “experienced significant blood loss and sustained additional injuries that will require surgery in the coming days,” and that his recovery would be “a long process.”
The family also announced that Hilton’s celebrity gossip blog, PerezHilton.com, will resume updates from this week, with his team publishing content.
