Transport for London (TfL) is commemorating the 40th anniversary of its beloved 'Poems on the Underground' programme. Since its launch in 1983, the initiative has transformed millions of daily commutes by bringing poetry directly to passengers travelling across the London Underground network, offering moments of reflection and cultural engagement amidst the bustle of city life.
