Tesla has announced it has built its 10 millionth electric vehicle. The company shared the milestone in a social media post on Thursday.
This achievement comes six years after Tesla produced its one millionth vehicle. Reaching 10 million vehicles means the company is halfway to one of the four core product goals set for CEO Elon Musk's $1 trillion pay package, approved by shareholders last year.
By 2035, Mr Musk's goals include building 20 million vehicles, achieving 10 million active subscriptions for its "Full Self-Driving" software, delivering one million "bots," and deploying one million robotaxis.
