Police Appeal for Information After Incidents at Arsenal Title Parade

Police are appealing for public information following a number of incidents, including assaults and anti-social behaviour, during Arsenal's Premier League title parade in May.

Detectives from the Metropolitan Police Service are seeking public assistance following a series of incidents that occurred during Arsenal's Premier League title parade in Islington on Sunday, May 31. The club celebrated their first Premier League title in 22 years.

Police have released images of several individuals they want to identify and speak to in connection with reports of assault and anti-social behaviour. Detective Chief Inspector Phil Coster stated that these incidents put others at risk on a day meant for safe celebrations.

Officers have already made 29 arrests related to alleged crimes on the day, including stabbings and assaults. Twelve of these individuals have since been charged with various offences, including attempted murder, grievous bodily harm, assault on an emergency worker, and sexual assault.

Specific incidents include a racially aggravated assault on Upper Street, a person damaging a car on Caledonian Road, an assault on Highbury Crescent, and an assault at the Kings Head on Upper Street where two men sustained serious injuries. The police confirmed these incidents are not connected.
