Premier League teams learn Champions League opponents for league phase

Manchester City and Aston Villa are set to face European champions Paris St-Germain in the Champions League league phase, while Arsenal will host Real Madrid.

Premier League clubs have discovered their opponents for this season's Champions League league phase, with several high-profile clashes on the horizon. European champions Paris St-Germain will take on both Manchester City and Aston Villa.

Manchester City, managed by Enzo Maresca, will welcome PSG to the Etihad Stadium and also travel to Barcelona, where they will reunite with former midfielder Rodri. Aston Villa, returning to the competition, are set to host PSG and Borussia Dortmund, and will make trips to Barcelona and Galatasaray.

Meanwhile, Premier League champions Arsenal are drawn to host 15-time winners Real Madrid at Emirates Stadium and will also face Bayern Munich away. Mikel Arteta's side will also play Borussia Dortmund, Real Betis, Lille, Napoli, Sabah, and Slavia Prague.

Manchester United, making a return after a two-year absence, will meet Bayern, Atletico Madrid, Roma, Sporting, Leipzig, Villarreal, Sabah, and Como. Liverpool will host Atletico, Porto, Villarreal, and Lens, while travelling to Inter Milan, Club Brugge, Fenerbahce, and LASK.
