Pressure is mounting on Manchester United manager Michael Carrick ahead of his team's Premier League clash against Leeds United today. Manchester United have secured only one league victory so far this season, placing them 13th in the table.
The scrutiny on Carrick intensified following an interview by Lisandro Martinez, who criticised the United hierarchy for a lack of investment. Martinez has since apologised for his comments.
Leeds United, managed by Daniel Farke, are currently seventh in the Premier League. They have recorded two wins and three draws from their first five matches, despite a recent 2-1 defeat to Arsenal.
