Buckingham Palace has announced that Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, are expecting their third child. The news was shared on the Royal Family's official social media channels, stating, "His Majesty The King has been informed and is delighted with the news."
Princess Eugenie, the younger daughter of His Royal Highness The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, married Mr Brooksbank at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle, in October 2018. The couple welcomed their first son, August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, in February 2021, and their second son, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, in May 2023.
The announcement marks another happy occasion for the Royal Family. Princess Eugenie is currently 12th in the line of succession to the British throne. The new arrival will be the third grandchild for The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, and the fourth great-grandchild for His Majesty The King.
Further details regarding the expected due date or the gender of the baby have not been released by the Palace. The couple divides their time between the UK and Portugal.
