Princess Eugenie has revealed the name of her baby daughter as Adelaide Elizabeth Annina Brooksbank. The announcement was made on Instagram, where Eugenie, 36, shared that the name honours "three people we love and admire past and present," including Queen Elizabeth II.
Adelaide was born earlier this month at a hospital in Lisbon, Portugal, weighing 6lb 9oz. She is the third child for Princess Eugenie and her husband, Jack Brooksbank, joining their sons August Philip Hawke Brooksbank, born in 2021, and Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, born in 2023.
The new arrival is 15th in line to the throne. Eugenie stated that the name also reflects English and Portuguese history, representing "two places we love and call home."
