Catherine, Princess of Wales, has visited the Royal Marsden Hospital in London, the facility where she received cancer treatment. Her visit follows a charity climb earlier this year, which aimed to help fund a new unit at the hospital.
In June, the Princess completed the Three Peaks Challenge, climbing the highest peaks in England, Scotland, and Wales within 24 hours. The money raised from this challenge will be used for The Centre for Holistic Wellbeing and Recovery, which is intended to offer cancer patients a broader sense of recovery, encompassing emotional, spiritual, and social wellbeing in addition to physical treatment.
During her visit on Friday morning, Catherine met with medical staff and spoke with patients receiving treatment for various conditions, including breast cancer, head and neck cancer, and brain tumours. The Princess, who announced her remission in January 2025, has previously spoken about how her experience with cancer has fostered a sense of empathy and a desire to help others undergoing similar journeys.
