New prospective buyer registrations at estate agent branches saw a decline in June, according to recent data from Propertymark. The average number of new buyers registering at each member branch dropped to 55 for the month.
This weakening in buyer demand is attributed to ongoing affordability pressures and economic uncertainty affecting the housing market. Despite this, the number of sales agreed remained stable, averaging 7.8 per branch.
