Michael Day, managing director of Integra Property Services, is participating in this year’s London Bridges Wellness Walk. The event aims to raise funds for Diabetes UK.
Day, who has lived with Type 1 diabetes for more than 35 years, underwent triple heart bypass surgery in 2021, a condition to which his diabetes contributed. He has since undertaken several fundraising challenges for the charity.
Over the last three years, Day has raised over £8,000 with support from the property industry. His previous fundraising efforts include two One Million Step Challenges, several London Bridges Wellness Walks, and a Christmas single released in 2025, which benefited both Diabetes UK and The Propertymark Trust.
He has also recorded a new Christmas single, 'It’s Not the Same for Everyone on Christmas Day', scheduled for release on 14 November to generate additional funds. The London Bridges Wellness Walk is a 10-mile event that begins in Battersea Park and concludes near Tower Bridge.
