Britpop band Pulp played their final gig "for a while" at the End Of The Road festival on 5 September, concluding their 2026 tour. Frontman Jarvis Cocker confirmed the hiatus on Instagram following the performance, stating it was their "last one for a while," but adding, "But not for ever."
The band's setlist at the festival's main stage included several rarities and live debuts. Notably, 'Deep Fried In Kelvin' from their 1995 album 'Different Class' received its first-ever live performance. Other tracks, such as 'Little Girl (With Blue Eyes)', 'Forever in My Dreams', 'The Mark of the Devil', 'Death II', and 'We Are the Boyz', were played for the first time in many years.
Pulp is also set to release a new concert film, 'What Do You Do For An Encore?', in cinemas and on MUBI. The film will be previewed in UK and Irish cinemas on 18 September, in Canadian theatres on 23 September, and US cinemas on 24 September, before arriving on streaming platforms from 25 September.
