British sculptor Rachel Kneebone is presenting her exhibition, 'Metamorphoses', at the Wallace Collection in London. The display features nine porcelain sculptures created by Kneebone between 2017 and 2026, which are integrated throughout Hertford House.
Kneebone, born in 1973, is the latest contemporary artist to be invited to exhibit at the Wallace Collection, following artists such as Damien Hirst, Flora Yukhnovich, and Grayson Perry. Her work with porcelain began in 2004 while studying at the Royal College of Art.
The exhibition includes two works created specifically for the show, one of which is 'Temple'. This piece is displayed on a plinth at the top of the stairs, situated between Boucher’s 'The Rising of the Sun' (1753) and 'The Setting of the Sun' (1752).
