Raise the Colours founder charged with 14 offences

The founder of the activist group Raise the Colours, Ryan Bridge, has been charged with 14 offences, Thames Valley Police said. Mr Bridge, 45, of Blackwell, Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, faces charges including racially aggravated harassment, threatening behaviour, and assault.

The charges relate to a two-month period in Oxfordshire earlier this year. Among the 14 offences are seven counts of using threatening words or behaviour to cause harassment, alarm or distress, and two counts of racially aggravated intentional harassment, alarm or distress.

Mr Bridge is scheduled to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court on 3 November.
