Two cyclists killed in Kent collision; three arrested

Two cyclists have died and a third was injured after a car collided with a group near Gravesend. Kent Police have arrested three individuals in connection with the incident.

Two cyclists have died after a car crashed into a group near Gravesend on Sunday morning. Kent Police reported that a white Ford Focus was involved in a collision with three cyclists on Sole Street in Cobham just before 07:50 BST.

Emergency services confirmed the deaths of a man in his 60s and a woman in her 50s at the scene. A third cyclist was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

Three people have been arrested in connection with the incident. Two men, aged 20 and 21, were detained on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. A 19-year-old woman was also arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender.

Kent Police have appealed for witnesses or anyone who saw the car or cyclists before the crash to contact them. The road was closed while an investigation took place.
