Rangers face FK Jablonec in the Conference League play-off first leg on Thursday 20 August, with a place in the league phase at stake. The tie comes after a 5-1 win over St Mirren on Sunday, which ended a four-game winless start for manager Derek McInnes.
McInnes said the victory lifted the mood around the club: “Even coming in on Monday morning after the win against St Mirren, everybody was a bit brighter and had a bit more of a spring in their step. I want a winning dressing room, I want a winning club and getting a win was important for us.”
The match kicks off at 7.45pm and will be shown exclusively on RangersTV for fans in the UK and Ireland, with the game available worldwide except in Czechia and Slovakia. Individual match passes cost £10.99, while a two-match bundle for the whole tie is £16.99. Passes must be bought at least 90 minutes before kick-off.
Kosta Nedeljkovic, the club’s 11th signing of the summer, signed on Wednesday and could go straight into the squad. McInnes confirmed James Penrice will be added to the squad, and said Nedeljkovic has been training with Aston Villa during pre-season. Tuur Rommens, Youssef Chermiti and Jose Cifuentes are out for several weeks, while Ben Godfrey is close to returning but may target the second leg. Daisuke Yokota should recover after being replaced at half-time on Sunday, and John Souttar is expected to miss out.
