  • Rangers have dropped out of the Europa League and are now in Conference League qualifiers.
  • McInnes has overseen the arrival of nine players this summer.

Rangers manager Derek McInnes has indicated that the club has funds available for further player acquisitions, despite their recent exit from the Europa League. McInnes stated that the team needs "a wee bit of help" to improve their performance.

The new boss has faced pressure after two draws and two defeats in his first four games, leaving Rangers with only one league point and moving into the Conference League qualifiers following a loss to Jagiellonia Bialystok. Should they fail to overcome Jablonec in August, they will be without continental competition for the remainder of the campaign.

McInnes, who has already brought in nine players this summer, acknowledged the difficult start but maintained the intention to achieve desired outcomes by the season's end. He admitted that injuries have forced him to play players out of position and stressed the need for winning performances, starting with Sunday's League Cup tie against St Mirren.
